Discover the art of watercolor in this hands-on workshop led by artist Stacey Hood. In this botanically inspired class, you'll build foundational watercolor skills and learn techniques you can continue to use in your own creative practice. Then, put your new watercolor knowledge into action as you create a beautiful botanical painting.
Stacey will guide you through essential watercolor methods, including color theory, layering, brush control, and techniques for capturing the shapes, textures, and details of leaves and flowers. Whether you're new to watercolor or looking to refine your skills, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of the medium and the confidence to continue painting at home.
All materials are provided. You'll take home your finished botanical artwork, your watercolor paint palette to continue practicing, and the skills and confidence to keep creating.
